SAT/PSAT
SAT
The SAT is a merit based standardized assessment that junior and senior students can participate in. Some colleges use this as a form of acceptance into certain programs. Other use it as a way to provide students with scholarships. While many schools no longer require SAT scores to be accepted into college, there are many that will use these scores as a way to provide students with additional financial aid.
Blacklick Valley students often qualify for SAT fee waivers. Students can use the fee waiver twice a year to take the SAT assessment. If you are looking for the SAT fee waiver, please visit the guidance office.
In order to register for the SAT, students must make an account through www.collegeboard.org/.
PSAT
The PSAT is a preliminary SAT assessment where students take an in school practice assessment. This can help them prepare to take the actual SAT at some point during their junior or senior year.
Sophomore and junior Blacklick Valley students took the PSAT on October 8th 2025. Scores are currently live on their collegeboard account.
